Not long ago, we presented an article about John Lennon, his life and tragic death from the astrological and Jungian point of view; it all dealt with the archetype of the ‘mana personality’. We mentioned the risk of a loss of identity when a person embodies a collective archetype, for example, the universal mother, the priest, the victim, and so on. It is especially dangerous in the case of celebrities, stars and pop singers. Lennon was a charismatic musician and a writer of lyrics capable of expressing the feelings of his entire generation, channelling this energy made him an icon, but it finally destroyed him by means of one of his own admirers.
